Synopsis - A restless & unconventional artist embarks on painting a meaningful landscape while being constrained to a strict time limit.

Director's Statement - This was one of the most challenging and rewarding projects I've ever worked on. I've always wanted to do a documentary on my grandfather, Randall Lake, a 19th century artist living in the 21st century. Being able to create a piece on my grandfather and hear his opinion about art reminds me of why I continue to make films. I hope viewers can take away a fulfilling message of what it means to create good work and be a flawed human as well.
